The end of the story. Esther and Mordecai have saved their people and have exposed the self-serving Haman.
The story of Esther, when looked at as a whole is a wonderful story of a woman who was willing to do anything not just for her husband, the king; but, for her people as well.
I wonder what the world would be like if we all cared about one another to be willing to give our whole lives so that others might live... Isn't that what Jesus did? And... the world did change because of him. May God help each of us to be less self-serving and more inclined to be of service to others.
